World Team Sector Captains serve as the official liaisons between the World Team members and the World Team Organizing Committee.  National Captains and First Officers assist the Sector Captains in team communications, briefings, and other sector-related activities.   National Captains also liaise between the team members from a specific nation and Sector Captains.

Before departing for Thailand, Sector Captains collaborate with the World Team Dive Director to select Sector team members, work closely with World Team Headquarters to ascertain what is required of their Sector team members, and maintain an effective line of communication with their team members to ensure that they are fully prepared to fulfill all the tasks required of them during the Royal Sky Celebration.

On-site in Thailand, Sector Captains maintain the primary line of communication with their team members, and provide direction to them regarding responsibilities and protocols in the air and on the ground.  Sector Captains work closely with the Dive Director, Safety Director, Dive Review Team, and other World Team leaders to ensure that their team members are in synch with the overall World Team Game Plan.

All World Team leaders collaborate as a brain-trust to ensure that World Team accomplishes its goals safely, effectively, and in harmony with the Royal Thai Air Force and host nation of Thailand.
